Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Money (ranked 4110 p4p, 4386 weight class) and Nathan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darren Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nathan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Money has taken the fight to the clinch.
Money is trying to break the clinch but Lee is controlling him.
Lee has Money pressed against the cage, preventing Money from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lee tries to pull guard but Money won't allow it.
Lee wants to take the fight to the mat but Money manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Money has had enough of the clinch but Lee keeps him there for the moment.
Lee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Money prevents it.
Darren Money has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Lee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Money creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Lee fails to pull guard.

Money tightens his grip and picks Lee up, before dumping him to the ground. Lee manages to land in guard.
Money throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Money advances position into side control!

Money stands up and beckons Lee to his feet.
Lee tries to clinch there but Money circles away.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Money sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Money looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Money darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.
Lee fails to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Money breaks the clinch.

Money drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Money controls the position.
Money lands a few punches from side control.
Lee is working to avoid the ground and pound but Money connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee is letting Money control him for a moment.
Lee takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Money tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Money has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Money works to advance to full mount. Lee defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Lee looks winded!

Money is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Money looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Money controlling the position easily from mount.
Money has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Money thuds a left hand into Lee's body.
Lee is looking to clinch but Money is avoiding it.
Money displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt.
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Darren Money has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Lee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Money darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Darren Money overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Money moves nicely into side control.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Money is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lee's shoulder. That is not cool.
Money tries to score with some ground and pound. Lee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Money passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lee!
Money has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lee is trying to escape the mount.
Money controlling his opponent.
Money in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Money controlling the pace for now.
Lee has given up his back. Will we see Money going for some submissions?

Money looking to break Lee's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Lee remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Money will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Money.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Money controlling the positon.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Money. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Money has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Money has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lee's body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Lee moves to clinch but Money breaks away

and Money counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
Lee tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Money is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lee has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Money controlling the position well here. Lee rolled but Money kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Money is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Money will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Money's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Money is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lee defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Lee is trying to get back to his feet but Money has full control of the position and if anything, Lee has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Nathan Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Darren Money is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
