Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shaun Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jisoo Oh!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Wallace is predictable there

and Oh counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wallace wants to stand and escape but Oh is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oh is working Wallace over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Oh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Oh working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Oh is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Oh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wallace has his feet on Oh's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wallace lands a body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Wallace. Those never looked like landing.
Oh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wallace as he avoids it easily.
Oh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.

and Oh counters with a takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wallace is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Oh working the ground and pound.
Wallace wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Wallace is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Oh trying to control the action but Wallace is working from the bottom.
Wallace is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Oh cracks Wallace with a big right hand but Wallace just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh prevents Wallace from escaping the position.

Wallace is rocked!
A big shot lands for Oh! That's hurt Wallace! Will he recover? Oh fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jisoo Oh!
A relieved looking Jisoo Oh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
