Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Braccianti (ranked 2000 p4p, 2610 weight class) and Jon Miocic (ranked 247 p4p, 315 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miocic tries to keep at a distance but Braccianti has taken the fight into the clinch.

Miocic blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Miocic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Braccianti walks away with a smile on his face. Miocic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Miocic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Braccianti lands a good knee to the midsection. Miocic won't want to take too many of those.
Miocic looks winded!

Braccianti lands a vicious elbow to the side of Miocic's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Braccianti tries to finish him with strikes but Miocic still seems able to defend himself so Braccianti steps back and lets Miocic get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Miocic is rocked!

The cut above Jon Miocic's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Miocic is still on wobbly legs! Can Braccianti finish him?

Jon Miocic's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jon Miocic's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
