PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Isamu San Chai (ranked 5026 p4p, 5169 weight class) and Regulus Terentius (ranked 493 p4p, 512 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Isamu San Chai has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Isamu San Chai seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terentius connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Terentius takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Chai moves out of range of the leg kick from Terentius.
Terentius takes one to the chin there.
Chai throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Terentius counters with a nice leg kick.
Chai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Terentius manages to avoid it.
Chai cracks a nice hook into Terentius's ribs.
Terentius misses with an attempted mid kick.
Chai looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chai makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Chai throws a head punch that misses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Chai.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Terentius doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Terentius's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Chai creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Chai lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Terentius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

It looks like Isamu San Chai has been cut.
Chai throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Terentiuss head.
Chai works on Terentius's body with a couple of short punches.

Terentius lands an uppercut.
Chai lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Terentius backwards.
Chai cracks Terentius with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Terentius goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Terentius wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Isamu San Chai!
A relieved looking Isamu San Chai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
