Greg has chosen Love Games as his entrance music. Danny Robida has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robida throws a head kick but Greg moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Greg.
Robida tries to clinch but Greg moves out of range.
Robida throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Greg's head.
Robida defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Greg.
Robida tries to land a front kick but Greg steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Greg misses with a takedown attempt - Robida sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Robida lands a with a good body shot.
Robida connects with a good right hand that stumbles Greg. Greg circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Robida wants to clinch up but Greg keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Greg shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Robida manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Greg stops Robida from standing up.
Greg has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Robida lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Greg!

Greg tries to reverse the position but Robida maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Greg tries to get to full guard but Robida has control of the leg.
Greg is pressing down on Robida's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Greg keeping moving, preventing Robida from controlling successfully.
Robida will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Robida tries to close the distance and clinch but Greg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Greg looks to score with a jab to the body but Robida is just out of range.
Danny Robida is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Robida throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Robida is looking to clinch.
Robida doesn't manage to clinch there - Greg circles away.
Greg throws a sloppy body shot
and Robida counters with a big head kick but Greg shrugs it off.
Greg checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Greg avoids the head kick by Robida.
Robida does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Greg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Greg gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Greg circles away from the clinch attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Greg closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Robida to the mat! Robida manages to get full guard.
Greg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Greg works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Robida wants to get back to his feet.
Greg lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Greg has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Greg has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Robida's face.
