The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard blocks a head kick by Choi.
Bernard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Choi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bernard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Choi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bernard looks up at the clock and then as Choi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bernard smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Choi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bernard on the ground.
Bernard is working Choi over with some ground and pound from side control.

Bernard prevents Choi from escaping the position.
Choi seems a little lost for a moment, as Bernard dominates the positioning.
