The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels closes the distance and clinches up with Blair, looking for a takedown. Michaels pushes Blair against the cage but Blair circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Michaels shoots for a takedown but Blair saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blair throws a series of punches but Michaels avoids them all with ease.
Michaels shoots for a double leg takedown but Blair sprawls well. He's pushed Michaels's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
KB Blair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Michaels.
Blair throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Michaels.
Blair throws a front kick aimed at Michaels's knee but Michaels avoids it well.

Blair wants to control but Michaels is having none of it.
