Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter OBrien (ranked 5376 p4p, 22073 weight class) and Peter Golles (ranked 474 p4p, 504 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 39 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Golles!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Golles.
Golles misses with a leg kick
and OBrien counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Golles is trying to stand up here but OBrien is controlling him well.
Golles has hold of OBrien's hands but OBrien slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Golles is looking to escape.
Golles taking some punishment here, with OBrien in his half guard.
OBrien will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
OBrien working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
OBrien slips a nice elbow through Golles's hands, connecting with Golles's forehead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Golles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but OBrien scores with a couple of nice shots.
OBrien landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Golles is rocked!
OBrien lands a big elbow - Golles is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for OBrien!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter OBrien!
A very excited looking Peter OBrien rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
