Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ante Petric (ranked 196 p4p, 409 weight class) and Emmerson Mile (ranked 27 p4p, 51 weight class). Emmerson Mile has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emmerson Mile!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mile throws a low kick but Petric avoids it.
Mile wants to land a leg kick but Petric is out of range.
Mile misses with a low kick.
Mile throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Petric tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Petric throws a body punch but Mile moves out of range.
Emmerson Mile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petric has managed to clinch.
Petric digs a right hand into Mile's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mile's gas tank.
Mile is looking to control Petric's arms but Petric gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mile has his back to the cage.

Mile escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Petric bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mile's coach down at Gunplay MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mile's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mile throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Mile throws a front kick that sends Petric stumbling back into the cage.
Petric walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mile.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Petric rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mile moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mile lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Petric swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mile lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Mile is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Petric.
Petric misses with a hook

and Mile counters with a head kick that drops Petric to the mat! Petric scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Petric is rocked!
Mile throws a body kick that misses.
Oh Petric is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mile with a nice calf kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petric gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

A very excited looking Emmerson Mile rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
