And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marco Peccati!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.

Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.

Johnson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Peccati working for a triangle but Johnson defends it easily.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peccati is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well.
Peccati has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Hellfire Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Peccati has his foot on Johnson 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Peccati is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Johnson has his hands clasped together but Peccati extends and breaks Johnson 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Peccati.
