Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Omari Ayuba (ranked 2950 p4p, 3629 weight class) and Sam Owen (ranked 346 p4p, 410 weight class). Ayuba comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - All Eyez On Me. Owen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Feel Me Flow - Naughty by Nature. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Omari Ayuba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Sam Owen!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayuba avoids the body shot from Owen.
Ayuba lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Sam Owen has been cut.
Ayuba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Owen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Owen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ayuba's guard.
Owen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Owen wants to control from the top but Ayuba keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Owen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ayuba swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ayuba throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Owen on the side of the head.

Omari Ayuba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been told by Ayuba's head coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Ayuba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Owen.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick by Owen - that's a beauty! Ayuba is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Owen can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sam Owen!
A relieved looking Sam Owen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
