Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kasparas Spirikavicius (ranked 1259 p4p, 1133 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 164 p4p, 143 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kasparas Spirikavicius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baki Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spirikavicius moves forwards but Hanma connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Spirikavicius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hanma sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hanma lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spirikavicius has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spirikavicius and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hanma slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Hanma throws a body punch but Spirikavicius moves out of range.
We've been told by Spirikavicius's head coaches at Torcida MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hanma goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hanma turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Spirikavicius is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hanma asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Hanma throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Spirikavicius works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Hanma tries to pass to full mount but Spirikavicius defends it.

Hanma in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Spirikavicius tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hanma!
