Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between WP Inman (ranked 2648 p4p, 3637 weight class) and Van Ines (ranked 213 p4p, 276 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Van Ines!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ines throws an overhand right that lands on Inman's shoulder, as Inman tries to avoid the shot.
Inman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ines doesn't seem bothered though.

Inman throws out a loose jab but Ines uses good head movement to avoid it.

Inman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Inman wants it to stay on the feet.
Inman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Ines decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Inman's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ines accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Inman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters circle momentarily. Inman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
