Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Young (ranked 983 p4p, 1659 weight class) and Jarrod Beard (ranked 59 p4p, 92 weight class). Young's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Real Ganja Man. Beard is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ladies Love Country Boys - Trace Adkins. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fred Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarrod Beard!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young gets caught flat footed, as Beard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Beard cracks Young with a solid left hand.
Beard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Young pushes Beard off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Beard takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Young throws a right and a left that Beard avoids nicely.
Young misses with an uppercut. Beard saw that one coming.
Sloppy strikes from Young. Those never looked like landing.
Young misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Beard drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Young defends it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed right hand from Young misses the target.
Beard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Young manages to avoid it.
Young throws a lazy uppercut
and Beard counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fred Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beard connects with a jab.
It looks like Fred Young has been cut.
Young tries to bum rush Beard with a series of wild strikes but Beard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beard scores with a hook to the body. Young takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Young swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Beard tries to counter it with a takedown but Young pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Beard gets a takedown into half guard.
Young has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Beard is on him like a limpet, forcing Young back against the cage.

Beard has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Young avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Young.
Young lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Young can't find room to land a body shot as Beard controls the action.
Young misses with some punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Young prevents the takedown attempt.
Beard has hold of one of Young's legs. Young is fighting the takedown attempt but Beard gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Beard stops Young from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beard stands and throws Young's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Young takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Beard in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Beard lands an elbow.
Beard is looking to take a break and control but Young is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Beard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Young haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Young is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Beard is controlling him well.

Beard connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Young some visible discomfort.
A big shot lands for Beard! That's hurt Young! Will he recover? Beard fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
