Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eee Zzz (ranked 2567 p4p, 3877 weight class) and Quinten Hendricks (ranked 320 p4p, 449 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zzz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hendricks pushes Zzz up against the ropes in a clinch.
Hendricks blocks an uppercut.
Hendricks blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hendricks tries to work over Zzz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Zzz scores with a hook to the body.

Hendricks manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Hendricks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zzz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hendricks wants to stand and escape but Zzz is having none of it.
Hendricks pulls Zzz in close to his closed guard and prevents Zzz from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Quinten Hendricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zzz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hendricks under the eye.
Zzz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hendricks at a distance.

Hendricks drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Zzz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hendricks's guard.

A nice side step and Hendricks releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Hendricks moves in looking to clinch but Zzz pushes him off.

Zzz cracks Hendricks with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
