Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Linkin (ranked 4030 p4p, 4756 weight class) and Chang Hyonu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chang Hyonu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Linkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chang Hyonu!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linkin scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Chang Hyonu has been cut.
Linkin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Linkin throws a series of punches but Hyonu avoids them all with ease.
Hyonu misses the shot to the body.
Linkin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hyonu lands a glancing blow to the side of Linkin's head.
Hyonu looks to land a left hand but Linkin moved out of range nicely.
Linkin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Linkin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hyonu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Linkin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hyonu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hyonu has his hands clasped together around Linkin's back. He's all about the action.
Hyonu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Linkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hyonu is continuing to stall.
Linkin is trying to control. Hyonu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hyonu tries to roll over but Linkin keeps him under control.
Linkin is nestled in close to Hyonu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hyonu is looking to control Linkin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hyonu avoid being mounted?
Hyonu is trying to get back to full guard.
Hyonu is trying to control but Linkin passes into side control!
Hyonu is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Hyonu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Hyonu takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyonu tries to improve position but can't.
Linkin trying to control the action but Hyonu is working from the bottom.
Linkin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Hyonu tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Linkin presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Linkin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hyonu to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hyonu shrugs it off.

Hyonu is looking to improve his position but Linkin isn't that keen on the idea.
Hyonu wants to hold on but Linkin pushes him away.
Hyonu tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Linkin controlling from mount.
Hyonu wants to control but Linkin is having none of it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hyonu is trying to reverse the position but instead Linkin has taken his back - oops!
Hyonu is looking to control the hands but Linkin breaks free and manages to sink in a rear naked choke that ends the fight!
