The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagatov throws a hook to the side of Paige's head but Paige sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bagatov throws a right and a left that Paige avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bagatov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bagatov throws a hook to the side of Paige's head but Paige sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Paige tries to move into range but Bagatov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Paige slips a straight right by Bagatov.

Paige goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Paige. Bagatov shrugs it off though.
Bagatov throws a hook to the side of Paige's head but Paige sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bagatov thows a body shot but no joy.

Paige displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bagatov throws out the jab.
Azamat Bagatov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bagatov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bagatov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Paige circles away quickly and effectively.
Azamat Bagatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paige is trying to control Bagatov's posture but Bagatov avoids it.
Paige is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bagatov has just dragged him back down to the mat.
