Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hayden Allen (ranked 24280 p4p, 5044 weight class) and Jade Blackshear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayden Allen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hayden Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jade Blackshear!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Blackshear looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Blackshear tries to break free but Allen pushes him back against the cage.

Allen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blackshear throws a lazy head kick

and Allen moves into the clinch.
Blackshear is trying to break the clinch but Allen is controlling him.

Allen is trying to trip Blackshear. He has hold of a leg but Blackshear is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Allen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Allen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Allen controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allen gets to his feet. Blackshear looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blackshear misses with a combination

and Allen counters by clinching up.
Blackshear can't break the clinch.

Allen manages to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blackshear tries to stand but Allen is controlling from the bottom.

Allen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blackshear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blackshear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Blackshear has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Allen is proving hard to escape from.
Allen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Allen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blackshear prevents Allen from getting back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A lazy body kick from Blackshear

and Allen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Blackshear!
Blackshear wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Blackshear trying to remain calm as Allen controls from the top position.
Allen is trying to ground and pound but Blackshear uses the momentary lack of control by Allen to regain half guard.

Blackshear has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Allen is on him like a limpet, forcing Blackshear back against the cage.
Allen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Blackshear's efforts to push away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Allen gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Blackshear kicks Allen off and gets back to his feet.
Allen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blackshear can pounce on him.

and Allen counters by moving into the clinch.
Allen has Blackshear pressed against the cage, preventing Blackshear from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Allen manages to break the clinch.
Allen is breathing heavily.
Blackshear fails to land with a series of punches.
Blackshear throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Allen counters with a shoot takedown. Blackshear fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allen tries to free his leg and advance position but Blackshear is retaining full guard.

Allen stands up and waves to Blackshear to follow him.
Blackshear lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Blackshear.

Allen is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blackshear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blackshear throws a head kick that misses.
Jab, jab by Blackshear - just one landing.
Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blackshear misses with a wild combination.
Jade Blackshear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Allen or perhaps it was just good defense by Blackshear, which made it look bad.
Blackshear connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Allen seems to have got his legs back now.
Blackshear tries a head kick but it misses.
A low kick lands for Blackshear.
Blackshear misses with a head kick.
Blackshear lands a two punch combo.
Blackshear pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jade Blackshear dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Blackshear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blackshear turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A head kick misses from Allen.
Hayden Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A slapping body kick lands there for Blackshear.
Some wild striking there from Blackshear.
Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blackshear but Blackshear pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fighters circle momentarily. Blackshear darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blackshear thows a left - swing and a miss!
Blackshear throws a body punch but Allen moves out of range.
Blackshear lands with a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A head kick misses from Blackshear.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blackshear swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Blackshear lands a big uppercut and Allen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Allen looks OK. Blackshear waves Allen back to his feet!
Blackshear misses with a head kick.
Blackshear throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Allen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Blackshear throws a nice looking combination but Allen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blackshear throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range.
Blackshear throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blackshear pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Blackshear throws a lazy body kick

and Allen counters with a takedown into side control.
Blackshear wants to get back to his feet but Allen drags him back down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blackshear is looking to reverse the position.
Blackshear is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Allen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Blackshear defending against the ground and pound.
Blackshear wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Blackshear throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range.
Blackshear ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Blackshear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blackshear circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Allen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Blackshear follows Allen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jade Blackshear!
