Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gundar Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Thorsen's choice of entrance music: Thunder struck- ACDC. Gundar Thorsen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thorsen.
Hood tries to clinch up but Thorsen circles away and keeps his distance.
Thorsen slips a jab and a cross from Hood.
Hood connects with a jab.
Thorsen throws a right hand that Hood ducks under and follows up with a left that Hood also avoids with ease.
Thorsen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Thorsen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hood sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thorsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thorsen keeps the fight on the outside.
Thorsen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Robin Hood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hood dives in and grabs Thorsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thorsen pushes down on Hood's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thorsen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Thorsen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Hood tries to close the distance and clinch but Thorsen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hood moves in looking to clinch but Thorsen pushes him off.

Hood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Hood counters with a straight right hand.

and Thorsen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hood closes the distance but Thorsen moves to the side
and Hood takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thorsen lands a left and a right that sends Hood crashing to the canvas! Thorsen dives into mount looking to finish!
Hood is breathing heavily.

Let's hope that Thorsen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hood is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

No joy there for Thorsen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Thorsen drops Hood with a left right combo! Thorsen follows him down to the ground into side control.

Hood is rocked!

Robin Hood's cut is getting worse.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Thorsen stands up and beckons Hood to his feet.
Thorsen lands a nice shot to the body.
Thorsen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hood moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Thorsen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Thorsen lands a with a good body shot.
Thorsen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Thorsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hood sprawling to the canvas! Hood rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thorsen finish him?!
Thorsen connects with a superb combination that knocks Hood out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Thorsen before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Hood!
