Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djordje Stankovic (ranked 2693 p4p, 3653 weight class) and Fernand Legrand (ranked 364 p4p, 447 weight class). Stankovic comes to the cage accompanied by Post Malone ft. 21 Savage - rockstar. The key to victory for Djordje Stankovic has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Djordje Stankovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fernand Legrand!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legrand tries to clinch
and Stankovic counters with a nice uppercut.
Stankovic has managed to clinch.
Legrand wants a takedown but no success here.
Stankovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Legrand looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stankovic is fending him off so far but Legrand persists. Nope, Stankovic circles away and we're back to standing.
Legrand shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stankovic counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Djordje Stankovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernand Legrand.
Stankovic moves into the clinch.
Legrand stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Legrand jumps into guard, dragging Stankovic to the mat.
Legrand escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stankovic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Legrand is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stankovic is controlling him.

Legrand manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stankovic manages to get himself to full guard.
Legrand scoring with punches to the head and body.
Stankovic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Legrand controls the pace.
Legrand has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stankovic is proving hard to escape from.
Legrand has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stankovic wants to get back to his feet but Legrand is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Legrand trying to control but Stankovic is working from the bottom.
Stankovic is pulling down on Legrand's head. It's preventing any offense from Legrand, at least for the moment.

Stankovic thows a left - swing and a miss!
Legrand changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Legrand misses the shot to the body.
Legrand is looking to clinch.
Legrand doesn't manage to clinch there - Stankovic circles away.
Stankovic lands with an uppercut that bounces Legrand off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Fernand Legrand has been cut.
Stankovic instigates a clinch.

Legrand is working for takedown but Stankovic is calmly controlling the position for now.
Stankovic wants to break the clinch but can't.
Legrand is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Legrand drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stankovic pulls his leg out and moves away.
Legrand shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stankovic pinned against the cage. Stankovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Legrand shoots for a takedown but Stankovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Legrand has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Legrand swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stankovic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Legrand bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Legrand shoots and misses
and Stankovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Legrand takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Legrand is rocked!
Stankovic gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Legrand is still on wobbly legs! Can Stankovic finish him?
Legrand throws an elbow but it misses.
Legrand seems to have recovered his senses.
Stankovic manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Legrand gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stankovic counters with a stiff right hand.
That has opened up Fernand Legrand's cut even more.
Legrand swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stankovic scores with a counter punch that sends Legrand to the canvas! Stankovic smells blood - he's punishing Legrand with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Legrand has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Djordje Stankovic!
