Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zavier Lavonne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aaron Nevemore!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavonne closes the distance and clinches up with Nevemore, looking for a takedown. Lavonne pushes Nevemore against the cage but Nevemore circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aaron Nevemore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lavonne ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Lavonne takes the fight into the clinch.
Lavonne has had enough of the clinch but Nevemore keeps him there for the moment.
Lavonne has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nevemore avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nevemore content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Nevemore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nevemore tries a head kick but it misses.
Nevemore circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nevemore changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lavonne tries to clinch but Nevemore moves out of range.
Nevemore looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lavonne throws a series of punches but Nevemore moves out of range.
Lavonne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zavier Lavonne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lavonne lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lavonne steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nevemore.

Nevemore lands a big head kick that sends Lavonne tumbling to the mat! Nevemore takes a step backwards and waves Lavonne back to his feet - he wants the finish!
