Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Travis (ranked 2060 p4p, 4375 weight class) and Jihadi John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis's entrance music is Chris Travis - Crunch Time. A fine choice. John has chosen Ali-A as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Jihadi John !
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John misses with an uppercut.
John moves to clinch but Travis breaks away
and Travis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Travis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Travis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Travis scores with a body shot.
Travis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
John looks to throw the jab but Travis is out of range.
Travis is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Travis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jihadi John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John throws a jab but it's blocked by Travis.
Travis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
John takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Travis clobbers John with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
John takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Travis keeps the fight on the outside.
Travis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from John .
Travis lands a really nice looking cross but John seems unphased.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
John misses with a body kick.

It seemed like John was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
John takes a shot right to the bread basket.
John takes the fight into the clinch.

Travis lands a left hand that snaps the head of John backwards.

Travis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Travis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
John misses with a body punch
and Travis counters with a stiff right hand.
Travis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Travis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. John quickly recovers to half guard.
Travis not doing much here.

Travis decides to stand and escape the position.
Jihadi John is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
John jabbing away but nothing is landing.
John misses with a two punch combination.

Travis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

John wants to counter with a clinch but Travis pushes him away.
John swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Travis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Travis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
John throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Travis jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Travis closes the distance and clinches.
Travis breaks from the clinch.
Travis misses with a hook. John ducked under it nicely.
John tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
John misses with a hook
and John takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
John uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Travis.
Travis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
John takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Travis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by John .
Travis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
John tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Travis. John does a little dance to reset his feet.
John throws out a counter right but Travis avoids it with no problem.
John throws a lazy uppercut
and Travis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Travis cracks John with an open hand slap.
John is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
John walks straight into a right hand from Travis - that's dropped him! Travis jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save John from any more punishment! John complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chris Travis!
