Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orpheus Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Stryfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orpheus Valentine had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine looks to land a combination but Stryfe avoids it well.
Valentine looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Stryfe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Valentine counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Stryfe lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stryfe.
It looks like Orpheus Valentine has been cut.
Stryfe scores with a nice right hand.
Valentine is rocked!
Valentine swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stryfe counters with a series of strikes that sends Valentine to the canvas! Stryfe follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Oh Valentine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stryfe works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Stryfe scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Stryfe is controlling the pace.
Stryfe gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Valentine seems to have got his legs back now.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Stryfe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Valentine walks into a stiff left hand from Stryfe.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stryfe scores with a kick to the midsection.
Valentine throws a head kick that misses
and Stryfe counters with a good low kick that Valentine was not able to check.
A punch combination from Stryfe misses.
Stryfe thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Valentine if he has to take too many more of those.
Valentine shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stryfe counters with a series of strikes. Valentine will be more careful next time no doubt.
Stryfe scores with a nice head shot.

Valentine throws a leg kick
and Stryfe finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Stryfe closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Valentine! Stryfe dives in looking to finish! Valentine is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Stryfe!
