Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leopold Strauss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fireball Pacio!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacio throws a hook but Strauss blocks it.
Pacio misses with a wild combination.
Pacio rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Strauss counters with a straight right hand.
Strauss keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pacio.
Pacio misses with a straight right.
Pacio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pacio staying out of range there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pacio! But no joy.
Strauss seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Strauss connects with a body shot that sends Pacio's belly button to the back.
Strauss looks to throw the jab but Pacio is out of range.
Pacio throws a nice looking combination but Strauss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Strauss scores with a decent looking hook.
Strauss ducks under a wild hook from Pacio.

Pacio throws a series of punches but Strauss moves out of range.
Strauss ducks under a wild hook from Pacio.
Strauss is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pacio.

Strauss throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pacio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Strauss momentarily.
Pacio throws an overhand right that lands on Strauss's shoulder, as Strauss tries to avoid the shot.
Pacio throws a poor cross that misses
and Strauss counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pacio rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Strauss counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Strauss closes the distance and clinches.
Strauss throws a punch but it's blocked by Pacio.
Pacio blocking some punches.
Strauss can't find room to land a body shot as Pacio controls the action.

Pacio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pacio loads up on a big right hand but Strauss slips the punch.
No joy there for Pacio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Strauss darts in and clinches Pacio up against the cage.
Strauss lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pacio or not.
Pacio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Strauss creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Strauss lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pacio backwards.
Strauss lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pacio is trying to force a seperation but Strauss has the dominant position.
Strauss misses with a punch on the inside.
Strauss can't find room to land a body shot as Pacio controls the action.
Strauss has Pacio pressed against the cage, preventing Pacio from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A nice left hand lands by Strauss.

Pacio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Strauss clobbers Pacio with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Strauss gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pacio thows a left - swing and a miss!
Strauss ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pacio throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fireball Pacio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strauss feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pacios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A jab from Strauss does it's job there.

Pacio is rocked!
Strauss lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Pacio falls backwards - clearly groggy! Strauss dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leopold Strauss!
An out of breath Leopold Strauss thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
