Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Dahlgren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dory!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dory throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dory misses with an uppercut. Dahlgren saw that one coming.
Dory missing with a left hand there. Dahlgren was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A big left from Dory misses.
Dory misses with a hook. Dahlgren ducked under it nicely.
Dahlgren seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Dory throws a hook to the side of Dahlgren's head but Dahlgren sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

John Dory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dory looks to throw the jab but Dahlgren is out of range.

Dory lands a nice shot to the body.
Dory throws a shot from downtown. Dahlgren moves away and avoids it.

and Dahlgren connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Dahlgren stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dory.

Dahlgren throws a hook to the side of Dory's head but Dory sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dahlgren swings for the body but Dory moves out of range.
Dory scores with a hook to the body. Dahlgren takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Dory throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dahlgren seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Dahlgren is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Dory counters with a nice leg kick.
Dahlgren jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fighters circling - Dory throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Dahlgren wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Dahlgren counters with a three punch combo that has Dory backing up. Dory nods at Dahlgren to acknowledge the strikes.

Dory pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dory uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dahlgren.
Dahlgren avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Dory cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dory is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dahlgren.
It looked like Dahlgren was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dory.
Dory steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dahlgren.
Dahlgren takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Dory throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dory drops Dahlgren with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dahlgren looks back up at him and smiles so Dory waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dahlgren is rocked!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
John Dory dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dory throws a leg kick which misses Dahlgren's front leg but catches the back leg as Dahlgren tries to avoid it.

Dory fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dahlgren looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oh Dahlgren is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dory lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dahlgren.

Dahlgren swings wildly with an uppercut but Dory uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dory drops Dahlgren onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Dahlgren is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Dory lands a big right hand that drops Dahlgren! The killer instinct kicks in and Dory finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Dory!
