Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jet Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Mears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mears comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Todd Snider's Beer Run kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a hook to the side of Mears's head but Mears sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice shot by Thompson.
Thompson looks to score with a jab to the body but Mears is just out of range.
Thompson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thompson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mears shoots for a takedown but Thompson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Thompson waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Mears.
Thompson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mears sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mears slips under a jab.
Thompson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mears moves out of range of the strikes.
Mears tries to clinch up.
Thompson misses with an uppercut. Mears saw that one coming.
Thompson works over Mears's head and body with a nice combination.
Thompson lands a hook that stumbles Mears back into the cage. Thompson follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Mears to the canvas! Thompson pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Mears has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Jet Thompson!
