Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Gordeau (ranked 4939 p4p, 24152 weight class) and Stan Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordeau lands with a right hand.

It looks like Stan Young has been cut.
Young's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gordeau connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Young scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Young throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Young throws a jab when Gordeau was well out of range.
Gordeau half committed to a counter leg kick.
Gordeau tries to bum rush Young with a series of wild strikes but Young uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little jabbing left from Young on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Young counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gordeau! Young lets Gordeau back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Gordeau makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Gordeau definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gordeau throws a nice looking combination but Young bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gordeau scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Young wants to stay close but Gordeau steps back to make room for something. Young seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Gordeau and Young drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
