Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigi Woerner (ranked 636 p4p, 1067 weight class) and Aaron Goodson (ranked 72 p4p, 117 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Woerner was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Woerner waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Goodson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Goodson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Aaron Goodson has been cut.
Goodson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Woerner gets to his feet - Goodson follows without any prompting.
Woerner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Goodson throws a jab but it's blocked by Woerner.
Woerner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Woerner moves into range and connects with a jab.

Goodson is rocked!
Goodson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Goodson is still on wobbly legs! Can Woerner finish him?
Goodson looks winded!
Woerner throws a shot to the body.
Goodson drops his hands momentarily. Woerner doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Goodson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Goodson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
