PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Porsche (ranked 2936 p4p, 4563 weight class) and Jackson Hole (ranked 215 p4p, 280 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Porsche might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hate it or Love it. Adam Porsche has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Porsche!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Hole!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hole has a takedown stuffed.
Jackson Hole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hole darts in looking for a takedown but Porsche gets double underhooks and turns Hole into the cage.
Porsche feinted with a counter takedown.

Hole fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Porsche to the ground. Hole is now in Porsche's guard.

Porsche had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hole defends it easily.
Hole is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Porsche bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hole's guard.

Hole is trying to control the position but Porsche postures up.
Porsche is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Porsche is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Porsche seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hole for as long as he can get away with.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hole or perhaps it was just good defense by Porsche, which made it look bad.

Hole felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Jackson Hole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Porsche has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
