The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skaar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Myers circles away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Skaar.
Myers is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Skaar working away.
Skaar tries to advance to mount but can't.
Skaar creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Skaar looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Myers is avoiding damage well.

Skaar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Myers defends it nicely.

Myers pushes Skaar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Myers throws a jab but it's blocked by Skaar.
Myers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Skaar shoots in for a double leg but Myers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
