The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koefti lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koefti, as that shot connected.

It looks like Jorma Erkkila has been cut.

Koefti told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Koefti creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Erkkila's defenses.
Koefti digs a right hand into Erkkila's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Erkkila's gas tank.
Erkkila is breathing heavily.

Erkkila is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Tappelukerho, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Let's hope that Koefti has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Even with his hooks in, Koefti manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Koefti biding his time, controlling Erkkila.

Koefti fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Erkkila has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
