Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trappy Trapperson (ranked 3224 p4p, 3336 weight class) and Javier Pinales (ranked 381 p4p, 394 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trappy Trapperson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Javier Pinales!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pinales closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Trapperson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Pinales is trying to get an arm triangle but Trapperson is defending well.
Trapperson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pinales is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trapperson defends it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Trappy Trapperson will probably get the nod.

Trapperson dives in for a single leg takedown but Pinales sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
