Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toa Mudo!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mudo drives through and clinches with De Lagardere against the ropes.
De Lagardere is trying to break the clinch but Mudo is controlling him.
De Lagardere with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Mudo scores with a nice hook to the head.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Mudo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mudo lands an elbow that stopped De Lagardere in his tracks for a moment.

De Lagardere wants to break free but Mudo has control.

Mudo lands with a left to the head.

Mudo breaks from the clinch.

Mudo rushes De Lagardere and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Mudo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

De Lagardere wants to break free but Mudo has control.
De Lagardere wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mudo has him pressed against the ropes.
Mudo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

De Lagardere is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
De Lagardere wants to get back to striking at distance but Mudo won't allow it.
Mudo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
De Lagardere lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Mudo.
Mudo lands a left hand that snaps the head of De Lagardere backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mudo creates a bit of space and cracks De Lagardere with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! De Lagardere is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!

De Lagardere is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
De Lagardere scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mudo has De Lagardere up against the ropes in a clinch.

Mudo drops De Lagardere with a big knee! Will De Lagardere beat the count? Yep, he's up already and we're only at 3... let's see if he's just faking it or if he's actually OK.
Oh De Lagardere is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mudo slips a jab from De Lagardere.

Mudo rushes De Lagardere and presses him up against the ropes.
De Lagardere seems to have got his legs back now.

Mudo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mudo clinches with his opponent.
De Lagardere is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mudo is defending well for now.

Mudo breaks the clinch.

Mudo forces De Lagardere back against the ropes and clinches.
Mudo scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A shot in the inside from Mudo.
De Lagardere's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mudo crunches a lovely knee into De Lagardere's ribcage.
De Lagardere is breathing heavily.
Mudo has control of De Lagardere and unloads with a rapid fire barage of elbows, sending De Lagardere crashing to the mat! De Lagardere looks in big trouble - I don't think he's going to beat the count! He hasn't! The referee has reached 10 and this fight is all over! Mudo looks delighted, as well he should.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Elbows). Toa Mudo!
During a confident post fight interview, Toa Mudo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
