Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vilmer Stridh!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stridh throws out a loose jab but Dalton uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head kick misses from Dalton.
Dalton throws a body kick that misses.
Dalton throws a series of punches but Stridh avoids them all with ease.
Dalton goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stridh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Stridh scores with a decent looking hook.
Stridh sizes up Dalton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Stridh throws a body shot but no joy.
Dalton misses with a hook. Stridh ducked under it nicely.
Stridh throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

It looks like Vilmer Stridh has been cut.
Dalton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stridh. Stridh circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Despite the aggression on Stridh's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stridh throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dalton gets tackled into the ropes by Stridh. Stridh maintains the clinch.

Dalton looks to land a combination. Stridh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Dalton breaks from the clinch.
Dalton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dalton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dalton stalks Stridh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stridh's face. Stridh staggers backwards, shaken.

Stridh is rocked!
Stridh tries to close the distance and clinch but Dalton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stridh is still on wobbly legs! Can Dalton finish him?
Stridh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dalton closes the distance and catches Stridh with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Stridh is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Stridh is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Stridh is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Dalton takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). James Dalton!
