The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dancer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Billy Riley has been cut.
Dancer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Dancer drops Riley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Riley looks back up at him and smiles so Dancer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Riley is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dancer throws a sloppy head kick

and Riley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dancer's guard.
Riley chips away with some ground and pound.
Riley with a flurry of punches that miss.
Riley is looking to work some ground and pound but Dancer has wrist control.
Riley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Dancer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riley on the ground.
Riley throws a big right hand that misses.
My spies in Sprawl N Brawl inform me that Riley has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Riley works over Dancer with some ground and pound from guard.
Riley passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dancer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Riley not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Riley seems to be looking for submissions.
Oh Dancer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Riley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dancer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Riley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dancer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Riley prevents Dancer from standing back up.
Dancer seems to have got his legs back now.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riley connects with a nice short shot to Dancer's temple.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riley lands a big elbow - Dancer is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Riley!
