Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim Jones (ranked 988 p4p, 672 weight class) and Hargol Svenkter (ranked 62 p4p, 31 weight class). Svenkter has chosen heavy bass test as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Kim Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kim Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hargol Svenkter!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenkter moves into range and connects with a jab.
Svenkter lands a head shot.

It looks like Kim Jones has been cut.
Jones throws a right hand that misses
enabling Svenkter to counter with a crisp jab.
A swing and a miss from Jones.
Svenkter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Svenkter lands a jab to the head.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Svenkter.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Svenkter saw that one coming.
Svenkter moves out of range of the body kick.
Svenkter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Hargol Svenkter has been cut.
Svenkter lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.

Svenkter throws a big shot that misses.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Svenkter now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jones defending well as Svenkter loads up on a big left hand.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Svenkter lands a nice looking body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target.
Jones throws a body punch but Svenkter moves out of range.
Jones walks into a straight right hand from Svenkter.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Svenkter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Svenkter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kim Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svenkter keeps the fight on the outside.
Svenkter is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jones had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target.
Svenkter moves out of range of the body kick.
Jones throws an off balance right hand
and Svenkter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Svenkter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Svenkter lands a brutal head kick. Jones looks out on his feet and Svenkter throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
