Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toinen Peto (ranked 3943 p4p, 2928 weight class) and Jesse Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toinen Peto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesse Kim!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kim tries to roll over but Peto keeps him under control.

Peto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peto.
Kim is refusing to be controlled, as Peto sits in half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kim should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kim has eaten all the pies!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Peto is one step ahead there.

Kim sneaks back into half guard.

Peto wants to work for an arm triangle but Kim is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Peto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kim sprawls well. Kim wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peto gets slowly back to his feet.

Peto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kim tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Peto is in Kim's guard.

Peto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Peto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kim holds on and takes a little breather.

Toinen Peto overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Peto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Peto makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Peto.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Peto has momentary wrist control but Kim slips an elbow through the middle.

Peto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kim defends it easily.
Kim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peto's head.

Kim is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Peto defends it well.
Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kim is pressing down on Peto's thigh, looking to free his foot. Peto is holding on for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kim engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kim wants to stand but Peto has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
