The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ORiley misses with a hook to the body
and Ferguson counters with a stiff right hand.
Ferguson lands with a nice body punch.
ORiley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ferguson lands a nice hook to ORiley's body. ORiley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
ORiley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferguson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

No joy there for ORiley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
An attempted straight right counter from Ferguson misses the target.
ORiley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ferguson circles away.
ORiley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ferguson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and ORiley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
ORiley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ferguson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from ORiley.

It looked like Ferguson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ezequiel Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendall ORiley.
ORiley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
