PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mate Orsic (ranked 392 p4p, 501 weight class) and Riley Hatfield (ranked 59 p4p, 69 weight class). Orsic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja. Hatfield has chosen Cruel World- Willie Nelson as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatfield lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Orsic takes a swing at Hatfield's ribcage but misses.
Hatfield has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Orsic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hatfield's guard.
Hatfield wants to stand up but Orsic is controlling him.
