The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang shoots in for a double leg but Love sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Love. No joy for Bang on that attempt.
No luck for Bang with that takedown attempt.
Mason Love has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bing Bang.
Love fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bang on the side of the head.
Love digs a good hook to Bang's body.
Love lands a jab to Bang's midsection.
A jab lands there for Love.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Love to score with a decent uppercut.
Love misses with a hook. Bang ducked under it nicely.
Bang with the counter takedown but Love avoids it easily.

Bang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Love throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bang! But no joy.
Bang takes one to the side of the head.
Bang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Love manages to avoid it.
A quick step to the side and Love tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Love takes a swing at Bang's ribcage but misses.
Bang tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bang shoots in looking for a takedown but Love manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bang's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bang blocks a jab.
Love throws a hook to the side of Bang's head but Bang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Love fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bang manages to avoid it.
Bang tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Love has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bang.
Bang misses with a body kick.

Bang slips under a jab.
Mason Love is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Love punishes Bang's body with a nice straight punch.
Bang tries to clinch there but Love circles away.
A swing and a miss from Love.
Bang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Love slaps away a takedown attempt from Bang, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bang fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Love avoids it really well and circles away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Love uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bang.
Bang throws a leg kick but Love checks it.

Bang closes the distance and clinches up with Love, looking for a takedown. Bang pushes Love against the cage but Love circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bang keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Love.
Love definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Love lands with a cross.
Bang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Love.
Bang looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bang scores with a jab to the body.
Love checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Love circles away.
Bang slips under a jab.
Love throws out a loose jab but Bang uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bang shoots and misses
and Love counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bang throws a body kick that misses
and Love counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
No luck for Bang with that takedown attempt.
Love pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bang takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bang is rocked!
Love is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Love ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Bang out cold! The fight is over!
