David tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but De Rossi defends well and David ends up having to push De Rossi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Corin David will probably get the nod.

David postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! De Rossi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of David, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
De Rossi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

David quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! De Rossi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! David celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

After winning the bout, Corin David thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Giuseppe De Rossi stepped up to the mic, saying 'Such a devastating loss that should never happen in the first place, I want to apologize to my fans for putting such a misserable performance and I promise I will be back stronger as always'.
