Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaxson Hogan (ranked 3304 p4p, 3257 weight class) and Farao Marao (ranked 348 p4p, 343 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Jaxson Hogan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jaxson Hogan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaxson Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Farao Marao!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marao throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hogan lands a jab to the nose.
Hogan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marao counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Marao trying to control the position from guard on top but Hogan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Marao is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hogan wants to stand and escape but Marao is having none of it.
Marao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hogan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Marao stands up from guard. Let's bang!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marao.
Hogan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hogan misses with a body shot.
Hogan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Marao is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hogan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hogan cracks Marao with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hogan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Marao to stand back up!
Marao is rocked!
Marao walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Marao limp body while Hogan jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jaxson Hogan!
