Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigandi Legend (ranked 4551 p4p, 2863 weight class) and Gael Perrier (ranked 0 p4p, 121 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Legend rushes Perrier and presses him up against the cage.
Perrier drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Legend gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Legend pulls guard effortlessly.
Perrier passes Legend's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Legend is trying to maintain the position but Perrier is very close to passing his half guard.

Legend actively working from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perrier is controlling the pace.
Legend wants to improve his position but Perrier is controlling well.

Legend has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Perrier is working away from the top position though.
Perrier wants to take a breather but Legend is having none of it.
Perrier is thwarting Legend's attempts to control the position.
Legend is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Perrier trying to pass the guard but Legend defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Legend has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Perrier is working away from the top position though.
Legend is breathing heavily.
Perrier uses his free foot to push down on Legend's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Legend.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perrier fails to advance to Legend's back.
Legend tries to hold on but Perrier postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perrier tries to control but Legend wriggling away.
Perrier avoids the attempt from Legend to control.

Perrier trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Perrier manages to capitalize on a mistake by Legend to take his back!
Perrier has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Legend's body.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Will Perrier go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Perrier working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Legend is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Perrier has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Legend taps out!
