Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Blazkov (ranked 3409 p4p, 5214 weight class) and Eddie McDermott (ranked 354 p4p, 436 weight class). Blazkov comes to the cage accompanied by Roar Of A Lion. McDermott has chosen I'm Shipping up to Boston as his entrance music. Eddie McDermott acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDermott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blazkov's guard.

McDermott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blazkov's head.

McDermott wants to work for an arm triangle but Blazkov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

McDermott is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blazkov is just riding it out for now. McDermott eventually gives up the hold.

McDermott seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blazkov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like Ulysses Blazkov has been cut.
Blazkov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McDermott manages to avoid it.
McDermott digs a good body shot into Blazkov's ribs.
McDermott cracks Blazkov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
McDermott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blazkov throws out the jab.
Blazkov ducks under a wild hook from McDermott.

McDermott waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Blazkov. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Blazkov to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McDermott loads up on a big left hand. Blazkov felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McDermott looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Blazkov can't hide his disappointment, as McDermott celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie McDermott!
A relieved looking Eddie McDermott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Ulysses Blazkov was interviewed post fight and said 'I think I'm cute. I know I'm sexy. I got the looks. That drives the girls wild. I got the moves. That really move them. I send chills.
