Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Falco (ranked 5224 p4p, 2845 weight class) and Brad Taves (ranked 0 p4p, 317 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Falco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shatter- Code Orange. Sean Falco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Falco shoots in and gets a takedown into Taves's guard.
Taves keeping moving, preventing Falco from controlling successfully.
Falco landing some decent shots from guard.
Falco postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Taves is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Falco is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Falco gets to his feet. Taves looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nice sprawl there from Taves as Falco shoots in.
Falco tries to close the distance and clinch but Taves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Taves throws a combination. Falco tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Taves connects with a body shot.
Falco throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taves.
Falco ducks under a wild hook from Taves.

Falco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taves's guard.

Taves has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Falco off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Falco closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Taves's guard.
Taves is looking to stand back up but Falco counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Taves.
Taves looks winded!

Falco is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Taves sees it coming and defends easily.

Falco escapes and gets back to his feet.
Taves misses with a body shot.

Falco bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Taves bucks up and tries to throw Falco off but instead Falco has got his back!

Falco has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Taves's body.
Falco cracks Taves with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Taves from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Taves trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Falco controlling the position well here. Taves rolled but Falco kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Falco is landing with strikes from the back.
Taves grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Falco is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Taves is tapping out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Sean Falco started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
