The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Derringer misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Derringer. That's going to slow Fry down.
Fry jabs Derringer right on the nose. Derringer blinks but takes it well.
Fry misses with a looping left.
Derringer throws a big counter combination but Fry scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Derringer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fry lands a big right hand that sends Derringer crashing to the mat! Fry stays standing though and waves Derringer back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fry throws a body shot but no joy.
Fry steps in with a hook that catches Derringer right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Fry follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Derringer looks absolutely devastated.
