PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Withers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Honcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Withers comes into the arena with Snap your fingers snap your neck blaring out of the sound system. Honcho has chosen 30 Seconds to Mars- Battle of One as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mike Honcho will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Honcho!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Honcho leaves Withers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Honcho lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Withers goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Honcho rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Withers's guard! Nice work there by Honcho!
