Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Fredrico (ranked 3577 p4p, 3852 weight class) and Dilian Sanregre (ranked 376 p4p, 396 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elmo Fredrico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dilian Sanregre!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanregre lands with a hook. Fredrico tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sanregre missing with a left hand there. Fredrico was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Fredrico feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fredrico has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fredrico drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fredrico jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sanregre is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fredrico dives into side control.

Fredrico is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sanregre's shoulder. That is not cool.

Fredrico is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanregre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fredrico is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sanregre has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
