Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erich Ludendorff (ranked 3432 p4p, 4585 weight class) and John Stak (ranked 406 p4p, 465 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Erich Ludendorff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Stak!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludendorff just misses with a punch to the body.
Stak misses with a head kick.
Stak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Ludendorff. Those never looked like landing.
Ludendorff fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ludendorff is looking to clinch but Stak is avoiding it.
Stak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ludendorff tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Stak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ludendorff with the inside leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ludendorff.

Stak gets tackled into the ropes by Ludendorff. Ludendorff maintains the clinch.
Ludendorff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stak manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Stak kicks Ludendorff off and gets to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stak connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Stak tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Stak.
Ludendorff seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Stak throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ludendorff tries to clinch up.
Stak stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ludendorff.
Stak throws a head kick that misses.
Stak misses with an uppercut.
Ludendorff tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Stak manages to circle out of the way.
Ludendorff is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ludendorff tries to clinch there but Stak circles away.
Stak throws a right hand that Ludendorff ducks under and follows up with a left that Ludendorff also avoids with ease.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stak.
Ludendorff is looking to clinch but Stak is avoiding it.
Stak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ludendorff buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stak misses with a double jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ludendorff blocks a low kick nicely.
Ludendorff is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ludendorff lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stak backs up against the ropes.

It looks like John Stak has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stak misses with a double jab.

Ludendorff rushes Stak and presses him up against the ropes.
Ludendorff tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Ludendorff lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Stak or not.
Ludendorff is looking to control Stak's arms but Stak gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ludendorff has his back to the ropes.
Ludendorff looking to slow down the pace here.
Stak is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Ludendorff landing knees to the head.
Ludendorff goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stak fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stak is trying to pull guard but Ludendorff turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.

Erich Ludendorff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Stak.
Stak looks winded!
Stak tries to pull guard but Ludendorff won't allow it.

Stak manages to pull guard.
Stak pulls Ludendorff in close to prevent any damage.
Stak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stak controlling the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Stak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ludendorff knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stak on the ground.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

John Stak dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Stak's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Ludendorff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stak throws a sloppy head kick
and Ludendorff connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stak lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ludendorff closes the distance looking to clinch
and Stak counters with a one-two to the body.
Ludendorff tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stak unleashes a big counter combination but Ludendorff bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Oooooh!!! Stak has knocked Ludendorff down with a huge combo! Stak steps away and waves a wobbly Ludendorff back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ludendorff is rocked!
Erich Ludendorff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh Ludendorff is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A bone on bone clash there as Stak blocks the leg kick.
Ludendorff drops his hands for a split second and Stak immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Ludendorff face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Stak follows up with a right hand that knocks Ludendorff into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Stak!
