Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan West!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and West has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
West looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in West's guard.
West is looking to stand back up but Anderson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by West.

Anderson is taking a breather. West says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Anderson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can West defend it? Anderson steps over the head and cranks it - West is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Anderson!
